Providing Food and Hope
With your support, the Food Depository distributed more than 71 million pounds of food last year, including 26 million pounds of fresh produce to our neighbors struggling with hunger.
Welcome and Thank You!
Welcome to the Greater Chicago Food Depository's FY 2017 online annual report. While the need in our community remains high, your support this year enabled the Food Depository to make an indelible impact on our neighbors who struggle with hunger. Because of you, we distributed more than 71 million pounds of food. We strengthened our network's response to hunger with a new program that saves agencies time and resources. We expanded our reach among at-risk populations and we unveiled new research that will equip us to better serve individuals with disabilities. Without the generous donors, volunteers and advocates who invest in our mission, none of that would be possible. Please take a look around and experience the impact that we made together this year. And on behalf of the Food Depository and the men, women and children we serve, thank you.
